Up for sale is my 2006 Porsche Cayman S. The car is an absolute pleasure to drive and it runs like a champ, I will certainly miss it.

Passed Texas state inspection on 12/8/18

I bought it at 41K miles and one of the first things I did was have the IMS bearing replaced with the recommended "beefed-up" actively lubricated version. If you are familiar with these cars then you will know how critical this upgrade is for peace-of-mind and longevity. For the 987.1 engine the entire engine must be pulled, separated from the transmission, and completely disassembled to reach and replace the IMS, so during that process the shop replaced ALL hardware and gaskets with new OEM components to ensure that no unnecessary wear occurred from the removal and re-installation. While the engine was out I had the shop install a lighweight flywheel, Sachs performance clutch and Sachs pressure plate because the stock clutch was showing wear.

Spark plugs and ignition coils replaced in last 1000 miles
New OEM windshield wiper blades
Oil changes always completed on time, with m0s2 additive

All work was done by JP Euro and RAC Performance in Dallas. JP Euro did everything after my first experience with them in my first year of ownership, they are a fantastic independent shop that I recommend to everyone. Look them up on Google or Yelp. I chose to install the exhaust and intake/TB parts myself as I have significant mechanic experience and they are not complex tasks. The car has been checked all over and throughout by JP Euro and I ask them to inspect it every time I get the oil changed. As a sidenote, the performance parts installed on the vehicle totaled over $10k, not counting labor.

The paint is in a solid 8/10 shape because of typical rock-chips, a VERY small crease in the front bumper, and a surface-level scuff on the left rear quarter panel that will easily buff out. The paint still has tremendous luster and the Arctic Silver shines very brightly in the sun.

Interior is 8/10 from typical wear. The climate control rocker switches need to be refinished or replaced. I got overzealous with the hood release switch and snapped the plastic tab on it, but the hood release on the key works just fine.

Issues:
From the factory the windows roll down slightly when the door is opened so that it can roll back up and seal when closed, but after valets left the lights on and killed the battery they no longer roll up upon close. I manually roll it up out of habit now. However, my shop said there is a reset sequence for the window motors that can be done to fix this, though I have not tried it.

Tires passed inspection but will likely need to be replaced before next driving season.

The electronic dipstick malfunctions and will read low immediately after an oil change. I have had this verified with JP Euro, so as long as oil changes are done on time then you won't have any problems. The electronic dipstick can be replaced if you want additional peace of mind.

Crack in the windshield outside of field of view.

If you run the Carfax, it will probably show damage. This is from when I was rear-ended at low speed in a parking garage. Damage was purely cosmetic, and I have detailed pictures of the before and after. The car was repaired to like-new condition, as evident by its current state.

Overall, the car is in excellent condition and it is a thrill to drive every time I get behind the wheel. The performance upgrades have given it noticeable extra "kick" and it will put a smile on your face in every gear. If you are looking for an affordable but exhilarating sports car then look no further!

Don't pass this car up! You won't find another one like it at this price. It is an absolute steal with all of the work and upgrades that have been done to it. Take advantage of my impatience!
