Offered for sale is this classic first generation SWB Porsche 911 "Longhood" Euro model.
Its original matching numbers engine was professionally and completely rebuilt in 2015, with new pistons, rings, bearings, upgraded thrust bearing & chain tensioners. It was also given a new clutch, flywheel, muffler and more. Earlier, it received a new battery & cables, distributor cap, rotor, plug wires, brake master cylinder & pressure switch, F&R brake hoses; rebuilt carburetors and pedal set, transmission fluid change and more. Its ignition system was upgraded to an MSD electronic system in 2017. It is mechanically complete and excellent, with no needs or issues. Its body, while not perfect, is solid and virtually rust free. Originally light ivory, it has been repainted to its present silver color.

The odometer shows 79,297 km/49,273 mi (if turned over, 179,297 km/111,410 mi). Included are detailed recent service records and receipts totaling $24,773,(plus some others going back to 1993), and a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity.

Whether you want a reliable driver as is, or a solid candidate for a cosmetic restoration (to a potential six figure value), or both - it's hard to go wrong with this iconic 911.
