Description:

I am considering the possibility of parting with my 2011 base cayman. The car has ~30k miles and has been a very reliable track car for the last few years.

I will add current pictures after a visit to the shop in the next few days
11/3/2018 update: pictures added! bear with me...there is a reason I'm not a photographer and don't hesitate to ask for specific pictures if need be

link to see/hear the car in action:

This base cayman may not have the same power as a cayman S, but it is top-notch in the handling department
times w/current setup,RE71R, and a very mediocre driver
grattan: 1:26.3
pitt race (full): 2:00.07
gingerman (long course): 1:42.1

first and foremost
The car suffered a low speed impact with a guard rail in the driver side rear. I took the bumper and broken taillight off after the incident and set a new PB. The damage has been repaired (rear bumper paint currently mismatches the rest of the car...but the color combo actually looks quite good). The only other cosmetic flaws are a rock chip in the glass that has been repaired, a few usual rock chips on the hood, and some scratches/chips on the rocker panel from track debris.

Suspension: (I'm probably leaving out a few things)
-MCS double adjustable shocks w/remote reservoirs (these were taken from a continental challenge ST class race car and then rebuilt by MCS at the beginning of 2018)
-650lb/in & 550lb/in fr/rr spring rates
-Porsche motorsports lower control arms front and rear
-Tarett bladed front sway bar
-Tarett GT adjustable rear sway bar
-Tarett extended adjustable sway links
-Tarett spherical bearing front and rear shock mounts
-spherical bearing rear toe links
-Tarett tie rods

Engine:
-fabspeed headers w/out cats coated by swaintech (I have the original factory headers w/cats)
this set was purchased used from a fellow forum member...I refurbished them and then had them ceramic coated
-fabspeed axleback exhaust
-conservative tune by fabspeed for track use (original OEM is available as well)
-Wevo semi-solid engine mount

Drivetrain:
-Guard Pro limited slip differential
-semi-solid trans mounts

Safety:
-custom bolt in roll bar by Mark McMahon (rollcageguy.com)
-pair of schroth 6point belts
-1 OMP HTE-R seat

Other:
-all stock parts available
-tons of used tires available
-1 set of OZ racing wheels (rears are cracked but fronts are OK)
-1 set of Apex SM10 wheels (brand new)
-1 set of OEM wheels (in not perfect but structurally sound shape)

GLWS

I've been around Grattan a few times, and that was considerably better than mediocre driving.

Well thank you! But it still speaks more for the car than me...put me in a spec miata and I'm a few seconds off pace.
