Selling my 1996 993 Coupe. I have owned the car for 5 years and have loved it. However, I don't drive it enough and feel it is time to pass it on to someone who will appreciate this great car. It is a tiptronic, finished in original Aventurine Green with a grey leather interior. Always garaged by me. I have only put 7200 miles on it, 1200 in the past year. The AutoCheck shows 7 previous owners. The car was in Florida from 1996-2001,then Houston for 2 years, then Tennessee for 4 years. It then was in N. Carolina for 2 years before being registered in Oregon in 2010. I purchased the car in Oregon in 2013. It has a few records from the Oregon owner but nothing from previous owners. The AutoCheck shows an accident in Tenn in 2003 so I had a thorough PPI done at Marques Motors in Portland including a compression check and check of the secondary fuel injectors. It passed with no problems found and no evidence of any accident or body work. The PPI found a sticky ignition switch which broke shortly after I bought it so I replaced it. . It recently passed the California smog test so it can be registered in any state. The car is licensed in Nevada but I have it presently in San Diego. This car is not a trailer queen or a show car but it is in great condition. It has the usual rock chips from freeway driving but has never been wrecked or abused. It is entirely stock except for an upgraded Alpine stereo/cd and Sirius satellite radio. The car runs and drives fabulously and I welcome and encourage prospective buyers to get their own PPI.
