Default Macan Diesel USA estimated MPG

What's the best guess here? Seen estimates in Europe but hard to determine what US specs will be after imperial vs. US Gal & Euro vs. US mpg regulatory testing.

In summary curious what we'll see as combined+city+hwy MPG estimates.

I'm considering a 328d Xdrive wagon what has 35/31/43 (comb/city/hwy) & curious of Macan Diesel will be anywhere close?

I had a thread on the UK forum and mostly it was low to mid 30s. So dividing by 1.2 I would think high 20s combined. The Macan won't be anywhere close to the BMW, that's a small diesel.

And it appears to be anyone's guess when the diesel will show up in the US.

That would likely mean late 2015 at the earliest. Not bad I guess.

That would suck. I was hoping to order it this October. At this rate the refreshed Cayenne Diesel will be available sooner.

I bought the 228d Xdrive wagon over a Macan Turbo and am loving it. In general I don't like BMWs but this car is great for what it is & wants to be; a very good looking (especially in the Mtrim), super fuel efficient, spacious, & relatively sporty wagon.

Don't know. In Europe, the diesel is a V6 so I would expect that one here.

I just read that they pushed the Pajun out a couple years. Who knows what they bring here when.

Yeah, the V8 TDI...also on the Touareg. Engine is not certified in US but that would be awesome.
