24 macan s quesitons.
I've been looking to replace my 2017 Cayenne S. My wife doesn't like it as she is only 5'2 and doesn't like to park it. So, I said I could look at a Macan. Some nice 24's are coming available with low milage and CPO . I've heard good things about the 2.9 L v-6 so that is a plus. Does the 2.9 L have a dipstick? Are DIY oil changes easy and straight forward? Does the 2024 macan s have Li Ion battery? I know the 21-early 24 cayennes did and there have been some problems with those. It looks like the 24 macan has a 5x130 bolt pattern for wheels which is same as my '17 cayenne. Does that mean my second set of wheels for my cayenne will fit the macan?? (I have a 19" and 21" OEM sets of wheels/tires for my cayenne). Does the 24 macan have a staggered wheel setup or square setup?
Thanks in advance for looking, I may come up with some questions.

No dipstick.
DIY oil changes are very easy. Filter housing is on top. Belly pan needs to be removed to access drain plug. Pan is held in place a dozen screws and two plastic push rivets. Pan is light weight.
It does not have LI Ion battery.
Macan wheels are staggered. Your Cayenne wheels may fit.

Cayenne wheels will not directly fit the Macan. The bolt pattern is different (5x112 vs. 5x130) along with the offset by about 30mm. Center bore is also larger at 71 vs. 66 mm. You could theoretically run a spacer / bolt pattern adapter but I would highly advise against that.

im confused, this site says they changed the bolt pattern on the newer Mayans to 5x130 which is the same as the cayenne. I was hoping someone with a newer Macau could verify this for me.
thanks !

2.9TTV6 is a sweet engine.
Oil changes take me approx 1.5 hours at an easy pace including cleanup of tools and used oil. Cayenne requires removal of a chassis cross brace to change oil which adds some time.

Could one DIY a dipstick by replacing the tube cap with a dipstick of the correct length?
A dipstick is unnecessary with these cars. Use the oil level display in the right tube.
I didn't like it when BMW stopped using dipsticks either. The reason I'd like to have one, if possible, is on a 400 mile round trip a couple weeks ago, while driving, the dash oil measurement showed lower than usual. It's normally up near the top "full" line, but during the trip it showed about 1/2 way between the top line and bottom line. I have not added any oil, and it's been showing back up near the top "full" line consistently since getting back home from the trip. I got the same behavior on a shorter 220 mile trip this week. It's been back to normal since getting home from the trip. With a dipstick I could at least verify the oil level is unchanged.
