help w/carfax and eqip summary
Looking to help a friend sell her 2018 Macan. She is the orignal owner and the car was purchsed in Santa Barbara where it currently resides. It was hit rear quarter while parked when she first got it and have all the repair documentation plus all the serice records.
Wanted to ask if anyone can run a carfax report and the window sticker info for me ( vin below). She is an interior designer and it is her work car. She just got a new 2024 Macan. Thanks for the help.WP1AA2A57JLB01395 |
Tell her not to be so cheap and buy the VIN and Carfax reports herself. It will cost about $57 in total.

I tell it like it is, regardless of what others think. I make no apologies.

She can afford a new Macan but not a Car-fax? Dude.

I am helping a friend and it isn’t always about the money…nice to help someone by doing them a solid…obviously an issue on Macan forum.
As long as you're on your high horse, you can do your friend that solid by purchasing the Carfax report yourself. If you can afford a Macan, you can certainly afford that. |

As you obviously know by now, the folks on this forum are remarkably helpful and patient with Macan specific issues. Your snarky passive-aggressive reply to folks calling you out for begging a freebie (that your friend can easily afford) just makes you come across as rude. The reason why you are asking is also questionable, like your friend wants to sell her Macan without disclosing that it's been damaged.

May be if you were capable of reading and looked at the attachments to the ad you would see the collison report with pictures of the before and after. But you would oblivously like to hear your self talk even if you have no idea what your are talking about. My mom taught me that if I didn't have something nice to say than I should not say it. For you I am making an exception.

Your mother should have taught you that it's easier to catch flies with honey than with vinegar. Perhaps if you had kept your attitude classy instead of snarky in this thread, someone like me might have been enticed to help you. But as it is, I'd rather not
