Strikes me more as a "marketing release date" for NA or USA cars...which could indeed have conveniently bought time for missing and pieces to be gathered and installedl. Who knows? We are all sort of winging it now. And don't forget this, could have been an arbitrary guess or a chosen safe date for release as relates to EV Macan release date.

I would think by now, everything would be orchestrated to produce a big bang launch for the new Macan.

My 22 GTS is at port in Baltimore awating EPA inspection. SA hopes to get the car to me by Xmas. Ill let you guys know and post pics when I get it.

I was told Jan 28th date as well, with the chance that I would get is by end of December. Missing chips etc is all new to me as I asked from the very beginning if there were issues with chips and was told "no."

I don't know what all the drama is about. If there is a chip problem, tell everyone up front. My SA tells me Porsche is not telling him much. I don't know why Porsche is not being more transparent and keeping their sales force and customers in the dark.

Placed my order beginning of December and was told to expect a March/April build date with a late spring or early summer delivery. Black with Bordeaux Red/Black leather interior. Dealer is Porsche of Nashua.

PORSCHE has always been very secretive, and they NEVER admit FAULT wIth ANYTHING... (Recently DOOR "CARD" DELAMINATION...and before that the dreaded "you know what")

22 Macan delivery
 

My friends 22 GTS just arrived at the dealer in Florida. They are doing the dealer prep now. I saw the pics.

Yes. We took delivery of wife's '22 Macan S on 12/23/21. Waiting to get PPF and ceramic coating so haven't stretched the cars legs yet. Love the look and wife did a great job with her build.

My father in law just got his 2 days ago. Ordered it 6 weeks ago, 22 base, white w merlot, was told approx 2 months, car arrived in Port 3 weeks later but sat for 2 weeks while he waited for a chip for stereo/GPS. My father ordered a 21 S in Sept was told 2 months, came in 3 weeks

Stop sale
 

My SA said they can’t deliver the car as anticipated on Jan 28 because there is a stop sale order for the Bose system. They need parts and are waiting. No ETA. Every 2022 Macan they have is just sitting there.

Although not one to respond to sales associate myth, my beautiful, long awaited car entered the body shop five days before Christmas, has been awarded a VIN, and seems to have run aground. After many revisions, my new ETA is 1 April...hoping for sooner.

the parts must be trickling in..ours got to the port in December and was stopped for the same part, but it became available for pickup at the end of December. We picked it up a week ago. So hopefully you get cleared up soon.
