I was travelling for the last two months, and now when I got back home my 2024 Macan EV will not charge. The port goes red (on both sides with the message Error: Charging currently not possible). I took the car into the dealer and it is charging there with my cables. I have two separate EV charging circuits at home, The other side has a JuiceBox that charges my Tesla fine, but that doesnt charge the Porsche either. Any help would be much appreciated.

has your Macan been updated recently at the dealership with the latest software? if so then you might be running into this…
Indeed I did get the latest update installed before I left on my trip mid Dec - thanks for the link. Super annoying
B
then the most likely root cause is a bug in the update - current speculation is the vehicle is more sensitive to voltage range - and given that grid voltage varies regionally, seasonally, and time of day it's an environmental factor that is outside the control of the owner - the thread claims Porsche is aware of the issue and taking it seriously but I can not personally vouch for that…there is no question it's an issue, as to when/how/if Porsche will fix it you'll need to either trust the information in the thread that I linked or escalate the issue to your dealer service so that they can share your situation with PCNA/Porsche Germany so that Porsche has a better appreciation for the magnitude of the impact…
with out further information it's unlikely you're suffering a "unique" issue and you're probably being swept up in the new behavior from the latest update…
the entire thread is worth a read if you're being impacted by this issue and want to be fully informed…
