Macan4 EV at Porsche Chantilly VA
On their showroom floor yesterday for their big Cars and Coffee Event. It's very nice, I like it. Simplified looking interior which is great - smooth, stylish lines. Roomier in the driver's seat than the current generation. Sleek. Well received by everyone there. This one had a $ 94K sticker. Probably a good lease vehicle, I would expect these to have high depreciation and not be worth the residual in three years.

Can you clarify what made the driver seat more spacious? I have one on order, and my one concern is knee room. When I drove the ICE macan I felt like the center console was a little close to my legs.

I have a 2020 Macan S as well as a 2021 Cayenne GTS ( just sold last week, new 2025 Cayenne S-Hybrid due in any day). For me, being 5’11” and 265 lb, the Macan my wife drives is aquequate for me, but a tad cramped. That’s why I have a Cayenne, it’s larger and more luxurious.
i didn’t spend a lot of time in the new E-Macan, maybe 2 minutes. However I noticed quite a bit more shoulder room and a feeling of the dash not being as close. Legroom is great, however there is a vertical “wall” on the center console which means you probably can’t splay your legs out if that’s your drive style. I really like the clean dash and console, a major improvement over our 2020’s layout.
i like everything about it, but I like Cayennes more!
