Did anyone ask why their cars cant be test driven or taken off the lot? Is it still software related?

Is 9/30 still the release date?

Mandatory software updates, two of them.
Release depends on when the updates get done but earliest I’ve seen is 9/20.

I just spoke with my SA in SoCal. He said they received the first batch of Macan EVs and all are sold but one. He said they aren't available to be test driven (or sold) until 9/18. I'm going to check back 9/19 and try to drive/view one in person before my build locks 9/26.

my sales guy was in dallas yesterday/today test driving them! he said delivery is still supposed to be on the 20, hopefully that sticks but tbd if anything will change… here’s a photo he shared yesterday:

went to the dealer to see if they had got delivery yet and luckily enough they got in this morning! i saw five of them on the lot, including mine! still pending software update before they can PDI / deliver, but it seems to be happening now finally.

heres a few photos of the ones they just got: four 4’s and only one turbo.






mine is the silver parked next to the ICE macan, nice to see them side by side to compare the size, not a big difference (height should be lower but it’s on blocks cause it’s still on delivery mode)

also cool that they opened it up for me and let me check it out, it’s great! i was impressed by the amount of space in the rear seats. the trunk is quite big for what i’m used to, the frunk is a little smaller than i expected but it’s not too bad. (forgot to take photos of that)

very excited to pick it up soon!





here’s the paper telling them to not deliver yet…from what my sales guy said it seems like the update is something to do with the car’s interface, but don’t know what exactly
