Macan EV: Consensus on Rear Wiper?

Understand and yet the rear window on the Macan EV is an angular instead of vertical slope so things could be way diffferent in terms of effectiveness. The new one could well perform excellently.
YET…
Porsche spent an insane amount of time working on lowering the cd from 0.35 to .25 (a major accomplishment for an SUV). That little wiper could screw that up mightily even when “sleeping” and definitively while working. Not as if the rain itself doesn’t mess up range. The wiper sure is not an aesthetic addition. I am now re-thinking, instead re-treating the window with a ceramic window coating every few months then in the interim cleaning it myself in the garage a lot more often before setting out. Not as it LOL there aren’t a ton of options that cost money calling me too.

This post on another thread is enough for me to prioritize form over function, and skip the wiper. My plan includes hope, Rain-X, a dry climate, and the knowledge that this is not a forever vehicle.
