Dear Rennlist Community,

I am a Mechanical Engineer currently employed as a manufacturing engineer for Magnaflow Performance Exhaust in Oceanside, CA.

I am looking for a new position to get myself more into a design role and away from excel sheets and flow charts. I am a very hands on person and worked as a bumper to bumper mechanic through college. I am interested in all things performance, from tuning to chassis components to exhaust of course. I am the type of person who will draw up a bracket for my car, run FEA analysis, create drawings and then machine and install the part... just for fun on the weekend!

If you know of a performance oriented position in the Northern San Diego or Southern Orange County areas that might be hiring please let me know. I am wiling to relocate but I own a house and my wife is going to college at UCSD so it will be a little bit of a hassle. That being said I would move for the right job.

I am also interested in freelance work and side jobs. If you have a design, a problem or an idea feel free to PM me to discuss.

I am no longer employed with Magnaflow Exhaust and am in need of work. If anyone knows of any interesting positions I am willing to relocate.
