Another disturbing selection from deep_uv's personal collection.

How the hell do you burp a 996? Do you pick it up and pat it on the back?

You are not far off. If you don't have the pressure bleeder I've been told it helps to pick up the back end while the car is running. No need to pat unless you're into that kind of thing.

For what it's worth, leave the little wire jobby (for bleeding) in the up position all the time. In street cars you put it back down but on race cars (including cups) you want to leave it up.
THAT is a personal foul!

No fair giving Globe tips and ruining our entertainment!!!!!

Trust me. If I know Mike, there is no end of entertainment headed our way once he starts the suspension work...

I will do my best as always...

btw, I'm planning to do the suspension at Greg Stewart's house. He has graciously offered to tape off a "safe area" around the door to his garage so I don't re-injure the nose. effing thing still hurts...

Time to re-alert the CareFlight unit of your upcoming date with power tools.

Not even close. There's still an interior to rip out, harnesses to rig, a kill switch to install, QR steering wheel, DAS (came today ), more rigging on the tire trailer, cool shirt, and of course the racing suit. Given my proven skilz, with the suit, I'm going to be VERY careful with the zipper. You can count on more entertainment for months to come.

btw, even though it doesn't look all that bad (in relative terms), my effing nose STILL hurts.

It will most likely be Methodist off of 290. That's where he'll wind up after driving his wildly crabbing 996 after doing all those suspension mods.

I told the flight for life guys to watch out for a guy in a green 996. His nickname is "Martini Mike". I figure when they see his car driving erratically on the highway, they'll just through him in the clink thinking he must be drunk.

I have the video camera batteries fully powered up.

Suspension is in. I still have all of my fingers and toes. The car will be trailered to Track Time Performance tomorrow & be corner balanced and aligned next week.
