At the end, it appears that VR suddenly remembers there is another turn coming up......

While people make mistakes, it is inexcusable for him not to seek out Mike, explain himself and apologize. My thought would have been to see if I could end up with a free martini out of it too.

Ironically, the guy was parked in the same garage as both Mike and I so there was no excuse for him not finding Mike. He was actually just one slot over from me. I had talked to him after the run prior to this one on video because I was behind him when a giant cloud of blue oil smoke billowed out of his exhaust pipes in T8. He didn't think it was that bad when I approached him, so I showed him the video. I mean, the smoke was so bad that I thought he had blown his engine and I was looking for oil on the track coming into T8!

Actually, I would likely have found him, picked him up so I could look him in the eye, then explained things to him very clearly!

I just try to see if anyone is buying the nice guy routine every once in a while....

The fact that he didn't come over and apologize/explain told me all I needed to know. Everyone screws up. How we respond to our mistakes to some extent defines who/what we are.
