Mmmmm, a piece in every crease and a hole in every roll.

Plus, every now and then you find a long lost twinkie or pop-tart. Saves you from having to run to the kitchen for an energy boost.

Which day?

We spent the weekend in Virginia with my family. Every year my parents host an open house for the neighborhood. This year, my mother said, "I think I'll have it catered since it's going to be so busy..." (My brother, his wife and sister-in-law were also visiting from Spain, and my other brother was having his daughter Christened). After giving it some thought, my mother said, "Never mind...You're a big help at this party. Would you make meatballs?" I also made coffee cake and muffins each morning for breakfast.

Christmas Eve we were home, and we had filet mignon, potatoes, and green beans.

Christmas morning we had sticky buns, coffee, tea, eggs and bacon.

Christmas lunchtime we had turkey, buttermilk mashed potatoes, green bean casserole and stuffed mushrooms....My mother-in-law made sweet potatoes and chocolate pie.

I love today, because we've had leftovers! Hamburgers for dinner tonight.

I have to start thinking about Three Kings Day, when we're having another big family gathering....And before then I have to make hoppin' john for New Year's Day...

I'd say you just cost Charlie at least a second a lap at Sebring!
