When it started it was an exclusive club that was used to separate forum members. For whatever reason John D (old Rennlist site owner) held favor for some of the old guard that created it, and allowed it to proliferate and throw its weight around on the 993 board at the time. It was so long ago that part of the initiation was to take a photo of a beer can, print it, and fax it in. I can't imagine many of these old fellas are around anymore and are likely in rest homes by now.
