White Porsche Cayman GT4 with APR Aero Upgrades, BBi Roll Bar & Schroth Harnesses

White Porsche Cayman GT4 with APR Aero Upgrades, BBi StreetCup Roll Bar & Schroth Harness Safety Package
Just wanted to share this White 981 Cayman GT4 that our client brought to us our BBi Safety Package. Already upgraded with APR aero upgrades, we installed our BBi Street Cup Harness Bar to properly secure the driver and provide additional protection. For a subtle look, we powdercoated the bar in Satin Black to blend in with the interior. Here are some detailed pictures of the upgrades:

BBi 981 GT4 StreetCup Harness Bar
Our bar features 4130 chrome moly steel tubing for excellent strength to weight ratio and addresses issues such as harness angle, seat travel, and engine compartment access. With our sensible design approach, the bar mounts to frame structure in the cabin and rear strut towers to provide the strongest mounting points and maximum protection. For superior strength and rigidity, high strength 4130 chrome moly steel tubing was used throughout and all joints are meticulously TIG welded by hand. Bolt-in installation is accomplished by using Inner Diameter Tube Clamps that are CNC turned and milled for a precise fit. These unique joints allow us to eliminate the more traditional slip fit tubes with an unsightly through-bolt and nut. Consistent with our design philosophy, the final result is a bar that is clean & functional.

Schroth Racing Profi-II HANS Harness, Porsche GT3 Specific Black
Porsche GT3 Cup Cars come with Schroth belts direct from the factory. They are specific because of the lap belt attachment. They have a sewn-in bracket that fits perfectly on the factory mount. Standard belts require additional fabrication and a spacer to make them work. These are a bolt-in replacement which is much easier. The sub-straps have no adjusters to fit correctly in the vehicle, and the shoulder belts are shorter to reach the works cages with minimal excess.
BBi Sub-Belt Mount Porsche 991 GT3/ GT3RS / Cayman GT4
If you have the optional Sport Bucket seats and planning to install 6-point race harnesses, then you will need this bracket. Shown here as a pre-production example, this bracket bolts directly to the seat and keeps the harnesses at the proper 10-20° angle regardless of the seat position.
