4L X51 is IN!

Most definitely you will need to do a COBB ProTune, best would be on-site on a dyno but remote using logs is possible.....if you don't get arrested for doing 2nd and 3rd gear runs to redline

Yeah, I think the major complaint from 991 owners was that the X51 made no more power until after 6500rpm and moved the torque peak up but that's what I wanted so it sounded perfect! On one hand I'm a little disappointed Porsche left so much on the table for what would have been just a few more parts out of the bin but at least it means there's a lot of potential left in the 9A1 already developed and tuned by Porsche engineers.....

Andy!
This was by far one of my favorite cars to convert to our 4.0L X51 engine package! Glad you are loving it!
I'm always impressed with the results on our dyno with this engine, we have seen 440 RWHP that equates to just about 500 at the crank. The X51 manifold, cam and head package really allows the engine to flow above 6000 rpm and takes off like a rocket ship at the high rpm.
The 4.0L conversions we have done using the standard Carrera S intake produce much more TQ between 3000 and 6000 rpm but do fall off after the 6500 mark.
The combination of X51 and the 4.0 yield a healthy TQ base way above stock and an absolutely big silly grin making top end that I have only experienced in the GT3/RS models.
The tune is 100% custom and made especially for these conversions. Would be impossible without it. Performance is the silkiest smoothest delivery I have ever felt and the power just keeps climbing without any dips or flat spots.
Thanks again Andy!
Now let's go drag race a few GT3 RS's!

I am just wondering if you have had any engine issues with this conversion and if you provide any sort of warranty because the factory one would be out the window. Also - can this car be serviced at a regular Porsche Dealership?.
I ask these questions because certainly have an interest if I decide to pass on the .2 GT3 and just go nuts on my GT4

This must turn the GT4 in to a complete beast.

I'm sure they would offer warranty for this this level of work

Once you go down this road with this conversion there is not turning back. That engine goes and it's on you. Also - selling the car may also be very difficult with this conversion. If i had money to blow and did not care this would certainly be the route
