I can vouch for the seller...buy with confidence. (Of course, who vouches for me? )

jasonfreed, sorry to see you leaving the GT4 fold, but I'm sure your next car with ED will be enjoyable to you AND your father. LOOOOVE the GT Silver! GLWS

Buckets are the most over-rated option IMO. OK, they look AWESOME.

But, they were too big for track use if you are the average size person (I'm 5ft 9in and about 170lbs).

Had them in my 991 GT3 - I moved around too much. And, the passenger seat does not have a pass through for harnesses if you plan to have a passenger.

Took out the bucket and put in a proper track seat with halo for track days.

Did not track the GT4 but if I did, the buckets would not have worked for my use.

Just something to think about if you plan to track the car.

I disagree...I have buckets in my GT4 and my RS...they are great for a street car. Yes they are hard to get in and out of but they are comfortable and do hold you in quite well on track too.

I happen to also like the sofas and find them incredibly comfy so you really can't go wrong...just depends on what you are using the car for.

I guess my point was that for the track, they are not as good as a "real" race seat.

And, in some cases (like mine) - the buckets can be too big to function as a good track seat. When tracking my GT3, I literally pulled the seat before each event and put in a different seat for track use. I just moved around too much.

So, it's driver dependent.
