Advice on next car move
I have a '16 Boxster Spyder and GT4. The Spyder is loaded, the GT4 is a stripper with buckets.
I decided to stop the track hobby. After 35 years of racing and HPDs, I'm done.
Do I:
Keep both cars...seems kind of stupid because I ride my bicycles more miles than the total of both cars each year!
Sell one (probably the GT4) and keep the Spyder
Trade both in on something new like a GTS Targa or a used GT3.
I'm sure I'm missing some creative ideas, which is why I am posting this.

You're going to have a hard time topping the Spyder for a daily fun car. Noise, involvement, looks - I don't think anything short of a F430 Spyder would be an upgrade on "pleasure to drive" dimensions. If you want acceleration, get a Tesla S P100D or an X5M.

Look at the "regret" list in your sig and reask the question

If you are really done with DEs then the logical choice would be to sell the GT4. The spyder would be a better weekend, cars & coffee car. If you want to just collect cars, keep both, then add a Targa or 991 cab to your collection......

I would keep the Spyder, long term. Super fun car, very rare and a future collectible.
The GT4 is more of a cult car, but they built close to 5,000, so not rare - So of the two I would sell the GT4, since you are hanging up the track days and move into something that you would enjoy driving on a regular basis. GTS is good choice, but I would get a 2wd coupe - not a Targa or Cab - you have that in the Spyder - GTS coupe will get you the lightest, best performing GTS and you already have a cab/targa in the Spyder.
If you decided to sell both, then put the Spyder down in your regrets column now.

The Spyder is in my mind the top car of its type, so while it's easy to get something that's better in other areas it's tough to "improve on" all around. Which begs the question- what direction would you want to go in from there? Faster, more refined, less refined, more visceral, etc...
Other newer sell both, buy one options that come to mind: 991.1 GTS Targa, GT2, McLaren MP4-12C, Audi R8, Ferrari 550/ 575/ FF
It's personal preference based on answers to the questions above, but the only one of the above that might tempt me over your Spyder would be the GTS (non-turbo), and that sacrifices focus for breadth of ability. The GT3 is also clearly great but compromised; for strictly road work the 991.1 has advantages and disadvantages over the Spyder- I don't think I'd personally make the trade for that role unless I was bored of the Spyder.

Three Wheelin'
Sell the GT4 while market is still at or over MSRP.
Spyder basically same driving experience off track and open top motoring FTW.
Plus if it is loaded, it's that much more of a great GT car as opposed to the stripper track car.
Personally anytime I go from a great NA engine (458, GT3) to a FI engine, the torque is fun for 5 seconds (until you 10 mph over the speed limit after 5 seconds) but the sound is lacking severely (esp turbo) so I would skip new GTS Targa , C2S or Turbo. GT3 and RS are pure Porsche to me, but if you aren't tracking anymore maybe overkill....can't get that great 9k sound on the street

What about something old school, and classic? Something really rare and unique...

I knew that I would get good feedback. Spyder stays. I will sit on the GT4 for 6-12 months. If the track does not beckon I will sell it.
Greg...your comment made me laugh.

That is why my sister sold her mint '70S. She got $150k and was relieved that she no longer had to freak out driving around the block.
