So....the GT department will be building the new GT3, new GT2 AND GT4 all at the same time?

You'd think it would be more like the last one where they did the GT4 and GT3 RS at the same time.

The big question will be how EURO 6 will affect the emissions of a NA engine. IIRC the Gen 1 was certified to EURO 5 emissions.

Euro 6 is the sixth incarnation of the European Union directive to reduce harmful pollutants from vehicle exhausts. The Euro 6 standard was introduced in September 2015, and all mass-produced cars sold from this date need to meet these emissions requirements.

if VW took a really big hit on diesel gate, it may want to recoup the loss and what better way to do that than build as many GT cars as possible.

The next 2-3 years, Porsche will build the .2GT3, GT2/RS, .2GT3RS, and .2GT4/RS. Build baby build!

Those wheels would be such an improvement over Porsche's current GT wheels.

i agree. But is it feasible for them to build as many variations in the GT department?

i can see many many .2 Gt3 built to recoup losses, and more than expected GT2. Throw in the quite a few new .2 RS and now we are talking:

But one has to wonder what production line changes would need to be made for a GT4 vs the 911 variants?
