Default 17K miles on my Cup 2's, anyone with more?

I just rolled over 17,000 miles on the OEM Cup 2's today and I'm still 500 miles from home.

Does anyone else here have more miles on their original tires? I'm thinking I need to replace them this year. The fronts look brand new and the rears still have meat before the wear bars but I don't trust them in the rain anymore.

Besides, the sidewalls are now brown!

Are you pushing the car, or driving it?

4,000 miles and I am now getting my 3rd set of tires front, 2nd rear. 800+ miles on track. Not sure how you 17,000 miles , that's what I get on my Macan, but that's more a SUV than a proper Porsche.

Just curious if I'm a complete outlier with the mileage on these tires. The original Sport Cups rarely lasted even 5k miles.

The only way that is possible is ferris bueller style - wheels in the air.

They should last a long time with a proper alignment on the street. I think a low toe number matters more than any wear from aggressive street driving, as long as you're not sliding it all over the place. Track is a different matter => 500-600 miles and you're done. (Which is like 25x the wear on the street, which is interesting because that means that even if you only track a little, track that will dominate the wear, assuming you're at a good pace. If only 4% of your miles are track miles, you should have an alignment halfway between a street and track alignment. If 20% of your miles are track, you should basically have a track alignment.)

Not cups, but RE-71R lasted 19k miles on my WRX.
