We took delivery this Carmine Red Porsche Cayman GT4 built by Arizona based Porsche tuner EVOMS and gave it some finishing touches for the California Festival of Speed event this weekend at the Auto Club Speedway in Fontana. To participate as the event's pace car and time trial competitor, we installed our BBi StreetCup Safety Package to properly secure the driver and provide additional protection and APR's Gurney Flap to improve the aerodynamics. Here are some pictures of the installation process that we would like to share:

Schroth Racing Profi-II HANS Harness, Porsche GT3 Specific Black
Porsche GT3 Cup Cars come with Schroth belts direct from the factory. They are specific because of the lap belt attachment. They have a sewn-in bracket that fits perfectly on the factory mount. Standard belts require additional fabrication and a spacer to make them work. These are a bolt-in replacement which is much easier. The sub-straps have no adjusters to fit correctly in the vehicle, and the shoulder belts are shorter to reach the works cages with minimal excess.

If you have the optional Sport Bucket seats and planning to install 6-point race harnesses, then you will need this bracket. Shown here as a pre-production example, this bracket bolts directly to the seat and keeps the harnesses at the proper 10-20° angle regardless of the seat position.

- Chrome moly steel tubing utilized for excellent strength to weight ratio
- Modular construction to allow access to engine for servicing without removing entire roll bar
- Shoulder harness mounting crossbar positioned at appropriate height as per Schroth's instructions
- TIG welded and utilizes "X" braces on rear section for superior strength and rigidity
- Mounts to frame structure and rear strut tower to provide strongest mounting points and maximum protection
- Utilizes laser cut mounting plates & inner diameter tube clamps that are CNC turned and milled for a precise fit

Thanks for the clarification Eric! We were informed that the GT4 was going to the pace car but we were not aware of any changes as we were not the sponsor if this year's event.
