1st Track Day Tomorrow
Car is 100% stock with Michelin PS Cup2 tires. What is recommended pressures for track ?
Track inspection form indicates 5psi above owners manual numbers, does that sound reasonable ?

First track day for you, or for the car, or both? My experience and that of most others is that the Pilot Sport Cup 2s like to be around 31-32 psi front, 33-34 psi rear HOT (measured with a good-quality gauge right after coming off the track). Start the day with cold pressures around 27-28 front, 29-30 rear and bleed off pressure as necessary during the day. Have fun.

Please post that track inspection form, from who it is and for which track. I've as yet to see an inspection form requiring any kind of pressure setting for a track event.

easiest to start cold pressure above 26 in the "circuit mode" of TPMS goes wacky
I do as above...get to 30-32 hot...if above go to "hot pit" (not back to paddock) and bleed down to 28-30 and quickly get back on track...trial and error for your car, alignment, weather, age of tires, etc..

Is this for track or auto-x? Some auto-x orgs recommend the extra pressure since most street cars don't have a good auto-x alignment and heat is a non-issue for short runs....
