Got tired of using jack stand so got a Quickjack

How does the quick jack work? is there any type of safety for when you climb underneath?

Much better than jackstands I got 21-22" inches of lift. You may be able to squeeze 1-2 more inches of lift by using different blocks at the jacking points but the low ride height of the GT4 doesn't leave much room.
BTW I found these lift pads on Amazon that plug right into each lift point but need to work with the Quickjack blocks as on the first time I used it couldn't get enough clearance to add them between the car and the Quickjack rubber blocks.

Yes....two steel safety bars lock into two preset positions, mid point and full lift. You could even disconnect the hoses and just leave the car with just the safety bars. Per instructions you need to lift the car into these two positions and make sure it rest on the locks before working....they don't recommend leaving the car lift outside these two point just on hydraulics.

Ohhh sorry.....pretty good since each lift is around 10" wide and there's nothing between them...they are separated. Also, you could slide freely under the car end to end with a creeper. The only obstructed area would be from jack point to jackpoint on each side.

Great stuff! I do want to mention that we are the only place that lists the QJ units with free ground shipping AND free ATF fluid. For those wanting additional height, I would recommend purchasing the SUV adapters. All info on this is listed in the Rennlist thread below.
We have a video and info on all the units here: http://www.pelicanparts.com/promos/1QuickJack2152017/.
Also, a very extensive thread with lots of details here: https://rennlist.com/forums/997-foru...jack-lift.html
Please let me know if you have any questions about any of the units as I'd be happy to assist you.

Love my Quickjack too. One of the best garage purchases I've made. Super easy to connect the hoses and get the GT4 up in the air for routine stuff. And stores flat and out of the way under my garage cabinets.

What are you using for jack pads. Thinking of getting a quick jack and it states 3.5 minimum height and I want to make sure I don’t have an issue.

Here's another happy QuickJack customer. I got the 5000 model, works perfect with my 981 BS. SOOOOO much easier than messing with the Liftbars I still have but don't use.

The only thing you have to be carefull is with the fittings...if you feel that you need aditional force to plug them, stop and check if any o-rings are jammed inside. I had to replace one fitting already and the second time was able to save the o-ring and put it back in its grove inside the fitting. They are not cheap and can't be rebuilt.

Definitely going to pick one of these up as some point. Sounds like doing sway bars is pretty easy with these?
