If money wasn't a problem...that guy on the GT3/GT3RS making parts for the 911R is out of this world.....of course then you would have the most expensive GT4 in the world

No idea of weight savings. I would never opt for smaller tank. Too inconvenient. But it's another place to save an unknown amount of (probably very little) weight.
It would certainly reduced the FULLY LOADED weight which I think is the idea for the race cars. But, for a street Lightweight, probably not much difference in weight of the tanks themselves.

It certainly is a challenge to get an already very light car (by today's standards) to be even lighter.

This is a simple one I overlooked - but how much savings is there for taking out the tools and flat tire kit and pump?

edit: And what about changing to tow straps instead of the heavy tow hooks that are included in the standard car - 3 pounds for both??
