Looking for some guidance re tires. Dealer will put new Pirellis on it for free (I'm guessing P Zeros and not Trofeos) or Cup 2s for $700. Assuming I'll burn through a set of tires before I see the track, can anybody recommend which tire (or another altogether)? I'm in San Francisco, so would be nice (but not essential) to have something that does OK in the rain - cold temps aren't a concern.

On a separate note, I have an old set of RUF replica wheels, will these fit the GT4 w/ PCCBs?:
Front: 19” x 8.5” ET52
Rear: 19” x 11” ET52
Have 7mm spacers kicking around, as well.
Junk the Pirellis. Best flavor is Bridgestone RE71Rs. If they are not available either do Michelin Pilot Super Sports or the new P4S. Don't worry about N-spec. On the MPSS make sure they use the basic version and not the OEM spec versions mixed like Ferrari on 1 axle and MB on the other. Also you probably wouldn't be able to tell the difference in every day driving.

Thanks, I'll heed your advice.

Do you know whether the RUF replica wheels I mentioned will fit the car? Would be nice to have a spare set...

Some 19" wheels will clear the PCCB's, but certainly not all. You need to have an unusually shaped barrel (not sure if the Ruf's do or not). Those are 410mm rotors on front (huge)

That is way to specialized of a question.

There are numerous posts on here regarding fitments of 19" with different OEMs as well as different brake calipers.

Ok, will do my homework. I also tracked down my former sales rep at Rottec and have asked him.

Anyway, thanks everybody for all your help. Car is (finally) en route to me in San Francisco. Pictures soon!
