I just ordered an Exclusive Options leather bezel with stitching to match the rest of the car (okay, it's not exactly a Fabspeed exhaust and tune), but I've googled how to uninstall the old one, which is just clipped, and I can't find out how to do it.
I realize it's likely nothing more than using a plastic trim tool for removal, but the two buttons (flashers and locks) under the bezel and above the chrono pod jut out a bit and I think have to be removed themselves first.
I'm no mechanic and have only done minor interior work to other cars, but I obviously don't want to mess this simple thing up. I've found in the past that what I thought would be simple, wasn't necessarily...any tips would be greatly appreciated.
We are glad you enjoyed your bespoke product. It is a small but desirable piece which completes the look of the dashboard of the 981 with Sport Chrono.
It is an easy installation. Replacing the plastic with the leather Chrono Bezel completes the look of the dashboard. Be careful not to use tools with sharp edges when trying to remove the bezel.
