My initial report showed 0 for lead and I've run 3 sporadically fills with Sunoco 100 octane.

I will run 5w-50 near term to see what it does to viscosity values.

Default Second Report

After my last report I wanted to follow-up with the next.

Nearly identical driving conditions: always ensure oil is at proper temp before elevating RPMs, same factory fill Mobil 1 0w-40, similar miles, also two track events, and always run pump 93.

Another that was at the last Zone 2 VIR event with me is going to test his oil to see if there are any similarities.

Otherwise, with this change I have moved to Mobil 1 5w-50 also listed as P approved.

My report after two track events on the same oil showed lead at 7. The report is for my second oil change. The oil had about 1700 miles on it and the car had about 2700 miles total. First oil change was at about 1000 miles and I did not do an analysis on that oil. The two track events were at Summit Point and VIR (same weekend as OP was there in March). Maybe this is an issue of lead contamination at the VIR pumps. Others who have data (particularly those running fuel from VIR), please chime in to help confirm this theory.

Just an FYI, I recently did my first Blackstone Lab analysis on my second oil change at 4,000 miles and I asked Blackstone what the sample size was for our engine that they were referencing.
They emailed me back and said it was: 477
