Default FS: Track-prepped yellow GT4 at MSRP

I recently purchased a 911 and I've decided to sell my GT4. Here's the details:

I am a local buyer for the harness bar and harnesses if you find a non track oriented buyer. GLWS.

Thanks; good to know. The dealer I bought it from would probably give me MSRP or close so I am thinking about taking out the track gear.

I also have a Vbox HD2 that I might take out. Would you be interested in that?

Would your dealer let you pass the car through to the buyer? Is so, the buyer could obtain a CPO.

I would think so.

GLWS! Feel free to PM if you want to keep this thread on topic, but I'm curious to hear your impressions of the 997.2 s compared the the GT4. Obviously, they're very different cars, but I'm curious how they compare when it comes to acceleration and driver enjoyment in particular

AFAIK whichever dealer will do a passthru sale will have fees for their troubles and the CPO cost (~$3k that needs to be sent to Porsche)

Depends on the dealer. One should expect to pay for the CPO. When I passed my 11 GTS through the dealer the purchaser paid $250 in fees and $2500 for the CPO. Works if you plan to keep the car and if you sell before the warranty expires.

For me, it came down to this: fun per minute x minutes driving = total fun. You could argue that the GT4 is more fun to drive than a 911 but if you're not driving it very much, it doesn't matter. I switched from a base Cayman to the GT4 and while the GT4 was crazy fun on the track, I actually preferred the base Cayman on the street - and, ultimately, overall. The other thing that was a factor with the base Cayman was that it was leased and I just wasn't that concerned about it. I'd leave it at the parking lot at the movies, something I'd never do with the GT4. I looked at a new 991.2 but decided that a slightly used but still recent 911 made more sense.

If I had more garage space, I keep both of them but I don't so the GT4 is looking for a new owner.
