I saw one this week at my golf course (St. George's) in Ontario Canada with ceramics in this color so minimum 3 cars in this amazing color. My money is that there are plenty more out there as this is a VERY popular PTS color.

No way that there are 'plenty'. Just look at the db. There are five Voodoo Blue cars of the known PTS cars. That's about as close to plenty as you'll likely get.

According to the DB, there are only two unknown PTS colors w/ PCCBs in Canada. So if we assume one of those unknowns is the Slate Grey that you saw and make another assumption that the second unknown is also Slate Grey, that would make a grand total of four Slate Grey GT4s in all of North America. Hardly a "VERY" popular color.
