Default GT4's at Summit Point for the Chin/DSC track weekend

I had a fun weekend down at Summit Point photographing cars and hanging out. I met the owners of the three GT4's in attendance and I know they lurk here so here are their photos.

My takeaway from the weekend? A well driven Z06 is a complete monster on the track. Any 99x Cup car is also in another league as well.

As always, wonderful pics. I agree with you about the ZO6. You get GT3RS performance for GT4 money with the ZO6. Unfortunately I wouldn't trust that car as a track workhorse like a GT car due to reliability and overheating issues. A lot of guys run the new ZO6's without issue, and I still think it's a great car. But for me, if I'm spending around $100k for a track car, it's a GT4 all day long.

Thank you!

There were several Z06's at the event and they were something to see from the passenger seat of a 991 GT3. Ambient track temps were in the high 80's both days.

You can see more of the cars at the event here:

I waited until Friday to decide whether to run Summit Point with Chin or go to my normal NJMP track. I decided NJMP based on weather forecast. Looks like the SP weather was nice, regardless!

Thanks for the comments guys, I really do appreciate it! Hopefully I'll be back at Summit one more time before the driving season wraps up.
