The issue will be width and whether or not someone will track that will help to determine the offset. A lot of posts have shown offsets that will give the flush look but don't necessarily work on the occasional track day. You may also have caliper to barrel clearance issues. So a one size fits all may be difficult to achieve.

I've inquired about a set of TE37's in 19" from a close friend of mine that works closely with Rays Engineering. If you are looking for 19" in GT4 offsets, I would wait. How long? I'm not sure but will update when I get a response.

Edit: Just gave my friend a call to see if there was a update regarding the 19" TE37's. I was told that there was caliper clearance issues so it looks like 19" TE's are a no go. Bummer, really wanted to run these wheels on the track.

I have the offsets figured out for something that will work on track and for someone who just wants a nice flushish set for driving on the street. 20's will clear everything we need and allow for those to re-use stock tires even.

I'll probably get the run made in 20's and be back in 5-6 months with photos. We do custom runs all the time with Mackin here so I just have to front the build (10 sets ) and get it done I guess, cause I want a set. :)

What colors do people want to see? I'm going with below right now:

Bronze
Hyper Red
Hyper Blue
Mag Blue
Dash White
Hyper Gold

Im in for sure if you can order me a set in Silver.

Based on all the discussions regarding wheel fitment on RL for a GT4 IMHO you need to list the specs you are thinking about: width and offset F&R.
Not everybody is going to share your "figured out". And it would be best if you could list an approximate $$$

E46/997 guy 07-05-2016 07:55 PM

I think Mercury Silver and Formula Silver would be nice.

Shockwave 07-05-2016 08:41 PM

Yes. Please post the size specs. It will give me an idea more or less from all the information i've gathered. 20x9 +50 to +55 would be most ideal.

What size would you guys want these made in? 19's or 20's? Any specific colors? I have the ability go these made and would like to understand full interest before I commit to having them made. These are not a standard run and require a special order build run to be made which is basically 10 sets.

The TE37 Ultra in Blue look great, the front wheel offset kills it. If they were around 55-50, that'll be perfect.

Pr3z 07-06-2016 12:16 AM

Colors would be. ( I did have to do 10 sets )

Gunmetal - 1 set
Dark Gunmetal - 0 sets
Bronze - 2 sets
Black - 1 set
Diamond Black - 0 sets
Dash White - 1 set
Mag Blue - 2 sets
Red - 0 sets
Hyper Blue - 1 set
Hyper Red - 1 set
Hyper Green - 0 sets
Hyper Gold - 1 set

Just trying to understand what would fit best to move the other 9 sets. :)

Size/Offset is done and fits in the range people posted.

20x8.5 +50 5x130 ( A bit more aggressive to make flush )
20x11 +50 5x130 ( Stock as it's flush and ready to rock from factory )

Yes the front sucks. It's going to be flat faced no matter what you do but that is what we get for buying a sports car.

BTW, Out the door price on a set is going to be 4700-4900 depending on color to your door.

Any chance for Matte Blue Gunmetal being an option?

Those specs you listed are excellent. What I meant about the front offset (+44) currently offered is that it would be too aggressive. I'll be interested in Mag Blue. Whats the lead time?

Im interested in the Gunmetal. Are you taking deposits? What is the lead time currently projected at?

Face 1 for the front and Face 3 for the rear?

To confirm the sizes are as follows:

20x8.5 +50
20x11 +50 - STOCK size.

The front wheels are 11mm further out than stock... Its not aggressive by any means.

I believe these are a Face 1 design.

Japan says no dice.

Yeah +44 is to aggressive. Goal for me and I think a lot of other owners is a wheel that is flush up front and provides a different look to the car.

Lead time is a difficult thing. We have wheel projects we started in November of 2015 just now arriving in the USA. The factories in Japan are running 24x7 at capacity. I would say 6 months is probably where I would sit for lead time. Could be faster but I wouldn't get my hopes up.

See above for Lead time info. :)

You got it. Front would be FACE 1 and rears would be a FACE 3.

Also having the outer machined ring dropped from this batch of wheels. Check the images here to see the outer machined ring that would not be on these. I'm not a huge fan and most people seem to think it looks " white " giving the wheel a weird look from 10ft+ away.

I think you will find, by reading on here, that ET50 fronts really do not work that well on track. There was a report on here of someone trying to make that offset work only to expend a lot of $$$ without success.

I'm not sure how it wouldn't work on track? Maybe it was a different width of wheel. That is the only possibility it could be.

The 20x8.5 +50 gains you more inner clearance, and with stock camber still keeps the wheel inside the fender. Saying an ET50 in the 8.5 width wouldn't work on track is damn near saying the stock wheels don't work on track either.
