only problem with the advans is they aren't forged like the te/ce/re line.

i've had a barrel crack on an rz on my street evo x. that's driving in northbay mostly so not on horrible roads either. that being said i still liked the look of them so much i bought another set for it haha

sorry about the misinfo. the whole rz/rs line was cast back when i bought my last set and hadn't looked into their latest versions. you're absolutely right, the "df" in both rz/rs are forged.

No getting around it... Brakes are just to big.

If you get wider fenders you can get a lower offset and achieve the concave look your after.

They make those in Porsche fitment or are you hoping that someone will mod to fit?

No problems with fitment - although there isn't a heap of clearance over the front calipers. But they do clear ok.

Weights were impressive - rears were 9.1kgs (20lbs). Fronts were less obviously (can't remember exactly).

I'll get some tyres fitted and post some pics on the car.

We also tried test fitting some 18" TCIII's. They fit on the rear - but the fronts JUST don't fit. We actually could bolt them on but there was some rubbing on the caliper. They literally don't fit by 1mm. If you ground the edges off the very corner of the caliper you could get these to work if you were desperate to run 18's without changing calipers. Crappy pic below has the TCIII's on the rear and the RZ-DF on the front.

Any updated photos on the RZ-DFs? Very anxious to see how they look!

I firmly believe in forged offerings from Volk and Advan. I ran both the ZE-40 and RZ-DF on my last M3.
