Just saw that... looks like:

19x8.5 face 1 52
19x11 face 3 53 or 63

although for fitment they say mention the 981 in the 10 inch wide rear not the 11...

Dealer confirmed that these wheels will fit without any issues... Hate to be a guinea pig here lol

Math checks out and the wheel is pushed out further than stock... Still no GT4 out there with these wheels so i can't confirm for sure that they will be problem free. According to Mackin' they fit fine on a GT3 with Ceramics.

Hahaha It's the JDMness in my blood that is making me lean towards the Volks.

Still working out a deal. If i buy i want to be able to make sure i can simply return if they don't fit. If my dealer can promise me that i may do it.

Black wheels make it really hard to get a sense as to how they look on the car; all you see is a black void.

Just talked to Mackin Industries.

They've concluded the Wheels are specifically for the 981 Cayman/Boxster S/GTS as well as the 991 Carrera. The fronts are to aggressive for the GT4.

For reference. Looks pretty flush to the fender but these are 3mm into the car...

19x9 +48.

The Advan GT come in 20x8.5 +50. It's about 17.5mm into the car vs. the TE37 and 11cm out from the stock wheels.

They are also cheaper, have more color options and Forged.

Thoughts?

FWIW Forgeline's CF1-open lug offers a similar look. These are 9.5&10x19"s specific for GT4. They offer pretty much any finish you want. Definitely easier to clean than stock...

No offense but these look no where near as good as the volk TEs and they are only 5 spokes.

It's funny how things grow on you. When I first saw this thread I was thinking 'if you can't say something nice...', but coming back to it today I think they look awesome.

Why? When you can approximate it for yourself with your present alignment. All you have to do it find a 3/4" thick x 2' long and x" wide piece of ? and tape it to your front wheel/tire combo. In this case it doesn't matter that the OEM wheel is 8.5" versus the Volk at 9" since a 245 tire is wider than either. The 3/4" thickness will account for the increased section width mounting the tire on a wider wheel and will cover the increase of the offset. Then all you have to do is look down the side/fender of your car and make your own judgement.

Shouldn't take any longer than the time to drink a cold one.
