Alan- you guys could swap carpets and trim as well as our bar doesn't require any holes in the carpet and we also have precut oem trim available as well as the install directions.
Thank you.

Default CMS Roll Bar Harness Angle

We've attached a couple photos from our GT4 showing the angle of our OMP shoulder straps. One photo is with the seat lowered all the way, the other with it raised all the way. Bear in mind that your height (our driver is 6'0"), your HANS, your seat height, etc. will affect your strap angle. Ideally, it should be between 0 and -20 degrees (it can be safely installed a little bit lower than -20, but not higher than 0).

(In the full-up position, the seat is very high -- too high for comfortable track driving. On track, our driver sets his seat close to full-down, and his belt angle is between -13 and -15 degrees.)

Default Cross Bar Option Added To CMS Cayman Rollbar

We have developed a NASA Time Trial legal crossbar option for our popular CMS Performance Roll Bar for the 981 Cayman. If you are going to do TT, this is the roll bar you need. Of course, it maintains the popular features of our traditional CMS roll bar: correct harness angles; high strength 1.75x.120 wall CrMo tubing; precision TIG welds; no cutting carpet or center trim; and your choice of powder coating from our custom-matched Porsche colors or any of over 5,000 other colors. (Shown below in Guards Red without the rear kickers installed.)

For more information, feel free to PM us, give us a call at 844.438.7244, or visit us online at www.competitionmotorsport.com!

Thanks to everyone who has ordered a CMS Roll Bar in 2017 for their 981 Caymans! For those of you still on the fence, we have them in stock and ready for powder coating in any of our custom-matched Porsche colors (or satin black for a more stealthy look). We also have a wide assortment of six-point harnesses, helmets, and HANS devices to complete your track-day or TT safety package.

Give us a call or drop us a PM today so we can put together a package to suit your needs!

Nice set up for NASA - any chance you could make that cross piece removable (weld in drop pieces and bolt together cross piece) so when not on track you could maintain better rear visibility?

Thanks

Default Another Really Cool-Looking 981 Roll Bar!

We have to admit, Sapphire Blue is one of our favorite colors for the 981, and our metallic color-matched powder really comes out stunningly powder-coated on the CMS roll bar.

Not only is the CMS roll bar superior in materials, design, and workmanship, we also custom-powder coat each one at no additional charge. Combined with our pre-cut OEM trim and no carpet cutting, the CMS bar leads the market in every way.

Another great-looking roll bar on its way to a CMS customer!

I recently acquired a 2014 CS and am very interested in the CMS Performance 981 Roll Bar. Is Platinum Silver an optional color for the powder coating? I did not see it listed on the CMS website. Does CMS offer a military discount?

Thanks

I don't have a bar, but if I did, it would be the CMS version. They can do any/every color. Give them a call. Ask for Brian. He is the man.
