Are the GT4's running that much camber stock otherwise?
Longer toe links and tie rods are required, but it seems a good number of the quicker tracked cars have about that much camber. I'm at -2.8 and -2.4 F/R.

That's the setup Potter had when he did a 1:58.2 at thunderhill (front sway bar soft, rear sway bar hard, MPSC2, toe links/tie rods for -3/-2.5, everything else stock I believe)

Several of the other quick guys have put on springs, RE71R, and/or the DSC module, and haven't beaten this time (I did 2:01.4 with just RE71R and -2.5/-2, but I'm slow ). I don't even think the hoosier crowd has beaten 1:58.2, but of course, they should be able to. My theory is that springs and/or DSC don't really make the car measurably faster, but, those things make it easier to do consistent quick laps. RE71R aren't faster either, compared to day 1 MPSC2, but on day 2 or 3 RE71R are probably better.

Good stuff.
My RS setup was a lot different for Dunlops and I suspect for the RE71R as well if they were available in RS size.

Just pointing out that setup talk may need to include all mods and even more so tires in MPSC2 case.
On R7 or slicks it all goes out the window but even with "wrong" setup they will still be much faster.

I'm still playing with DSC but its promising.

Any updated thoughts on brake pads for GT4s used on track.

Heading to WGI with Chin in two weeks and want to throw a spare set of brake pads in my track bag.

Recommendations or what to avoid? My shop is likely to recommend Pagid Yellows (I believe).

Thanks for your thoughts.

Many love Race Technologies RE 10 (I prefer) more expensive but clean quiet and last very long.
I like the pedal feel as well but that's personal preference.

Others like Ferodo as well.

Ask Clark at Apex performance.

Very good pads
I've been running Ferodo DS1.11s on my Cayman R, they are absolutely stupendous. Confident that I've never run a better track pad. I have spoken with Clark over at Apex Performance at length about the Ferodo Pads, and he pushes those over Pagids all day long. Better performance throughout the pad life, don't fall off as much as the Pagids do. Nice that they're a little less expensive too. Clark is the most knowledgeable, dedicated brake guru I've found for Porsche, highly recommend working with him.

Could anyone tell me the model number for the Ferodo Racing pads with material DS1.11?
I am trying to find this in Germany online, but could not yet nail down the right model number for GT4.

EDIT: I actually found it in UK:
Front FCP4664W
Rear FCP4665W

Euro/GBP is still depressed, so there are crazy deals on ferrodo to be had for the time being.

Has anyone done DSC and the Tarret springs? results?
