Review: SpeedTactics Fire Extinguisher Bracket for LWBS
Just wanted to post a quick "review" of this product from SpeedTactics. My GT4 was not spec'd with the factory fire extinguisher. I went with this one due to price and ease of install, and they said it would work with the LWB seats.
The extinguisher itself is better than the factory one. 2.5 lbs of Halon (more, and safer to use vs. the factory chemical unit).

Here's a summary:
- Super easy install. Can be done on either seat.
- Took a bit to find a good position for the extinguisher clamp on the bracket so that the extinguisher would fit.
- Restricts forward movement of the seat (takes away 50-75% of movement).
- The release of the extinguisher is not as quick as it could be (you have to wiggle it out slightly), but still pretty quick.
Note: I want to give a warning about removing and tightening the seat rail bolts. They don't thread in/out very nicely and I had trouble tightening one of them. Be careful, it feels like they can cross-thread easily.
