Thank you everyone!!! Just a quick update, we just trimmed the carpet and sent out the bar to be coated in red. By tomorrow evening we will have pictures of the final installed product. In the meantime, here are more pictures:

Horizontal Harness Bar Angle As Per Schroth's Recommendations

Seat All the Way Back

Removable Rear Section to allow access to engine for servicing without removing entire rollbar

Symmetrical "X" Section

Rear Shock Tower Mount

Okay - this is super cool, well engineered, and appears strong as hell. I am in love. Now install it and take pictures.

It's hard to see that the cross-bar over the hatch area is doing much for you structurally in a roll-over event given the shallow angle. Is it really just for looks at that point? Have you considered making a bar without the cross for better hatch usability?

I think the rear braces, more than anything on these harness bars, is going to help minimize the risk of the "hoop" pushing forward toward the cabin, ie. back of head. I don't think there is much if any support in the directional plane you're asking about.

I think the bars that are tying into the frame where this one is at the chasis, are the best option in terms of rollover short of a full cage.

Does anyone know if this area of the firewall is strong enough to serve as a load bearing point vs. going down to the frame? I think the row clubsport bar went all the way to reinforced sections of the floor so I'd be concerned that an unsupported harness bar could become just another thing to smack me in the head in an accident.

I don't believe our cars have the provisions for the floor mount that the ROW cars do as we lack various reinforcements that have been discussed. Most of the other bars use the lower seat belt bolt...pick your poison I guess...

i've been waiting for BBi to come out with a bar for a while now, glad i did, looks great! looks like engine access is a bit easier with this bar too as the x section appears to be removable via the joints behind the hoop and just in front or the rear strut mount, all without having to remove plastic or the actual strut mount. can't wait to get this installed, jerry you should have an order with my name on it powdercoated white!

Looks great! Got a pic from the rear-view mirror perspective to see the view with the cross-bars and wing?

Do you have close-ups of the trim where it was cut?
