Was anyone charged an additional 3.5 % for using a credit card when ordering AWE AIR Foiler in group from Tanner

Did you use an Amex to purchase? I know Amex has higher fees over visa etc which usually results in merchants adding a %

I used MC and it was exactly $79.

If they are going to charge more for AMEX - IMO they should tell you. I usually use AMEX but for whatever reason I used MC for this purchase.

I don't think I was charged extra. However, after installing and driving on the track this weekend, I am completely underwhelmed with the product. Buffeting is still horrible! Anyone else find otherwise? They installed fine and look fine but I could not drive with only one window down still. Started really bad around 80 mph and forget about the front straight. Pretty disappointed.

Haven't tracked with them yet but even on the road, you must at least crack the passenger side window as well. Otherwise you get a lot of buffeting on your shoulder. But it's still much better than stock and with both windows down it seems fine. Will see at 120moh at track.

With the stock ones, if I cracked the passenger side, it went away too. On the track, our local rules are all the way up or all the way down for the passenger window so not allowed to just crack a bit. Ran yesterday in 37 degrees and rain/sleet with both windows down.. Brrrrrrrrr.

I'm not sure what everybody is expecting here, but with just driver's window down it was diminished quite a bit over the OEM piece while doing the speed limit on the highway/interstate.

I guess my experience was different. To me, it seems no better.

What was the wind speed? High speed and gusts would not be a fair test on these foils.

This was your first time on track in the GT4 though, right? Perhaps more inherent to the car.

Nevertheless, I am back on track this weekend and will try again.

Was at VIR a few 3 weeks ago and didn't experience any buffeting during that weekend. This past weekend at njmp was the first time I had experienced buffeting of any kind in the car have over 2400 miles in the car. So I am curious if this air foil really helps.
