G-Force and Gear shift assistant
Read on a German forum that these might be available as a retrofit for those without SC and PCM via a software update since the write up in the manual doesn't specify that SC and PCM is required. I contacted my dealer who is researching it. Might be country specific but lets hope not.

I had thought that this was just a coding mistake, good to read that Porsche may be correcting it.
Not sure how easy these can be seen when concentrating on the road ahead, but the latter may be useful if it goes solid red with enough time to react before hitting red line.

A user on the German forum claims he got it done for free. But that doesn't mean that it is available that way, at that cost from PCNA. Investigation is still on going. Might check with your dealer as well. The more the merrier.

Hey, don't be raggin' on my intellectually-similar cousin jphughan! We may be prolix, but, we probably both like to think we're disseminating more specific information and data. You can tell I don't work anymore! BTW, STLPCA, love your RS...gorgeous.

Nobody has ever accused me of being a man of few words, but they also generally don't have to go through multiple back-and-forths with me before they get all the information they want either!

Received answer. PCNA declined to follow in Germany's foot steps to provide the functionality. PCNA stands fast that Sportchrono is a prerequisite.
