Frank, would you know if imsa BOP would include an adjustments for the PDK eqipped clubsports vs rhe Deman built manual? I see Rick is just .01 of a second slower than CJs car on the practice laps.

Looks like the new Mustang 350Rs are a second quicker than the Clubsports.

EDIT: Deman's fastest lap was .1 seconds slower in Practice 2, and .5 slower in Practice 3.

I'm not an expert - just a fan. To my knowledge a final ruling whether Rick's 6-speed car will be classified in GS on top of the factory GT4 PDK cars for the season is still outstanding. Personally, I think non-factory built cars should be allowed. The GS field has shrunk quite a bit from last year.

No it does not come with the clock, but it does come with the Precision track app.

This is Bruce, from BRracing in CA....we have our first Porsche GT4 Clubsport (CS), and rec'd in the first of January, and had it out yesterday for our first test day. Impressive car, very balanced, and our customer will be running his car in the Pirelli Cup series. Here are some initial pics of the car, and the car testing yesterday.

Interesting to note that the old Rum Bum 997 was faster than any of the Caymans in the first two sessions yesterday. It's great for Rick DeMan to build his own car - way to go!!
Frank you are correct. I can explain ride height issue:

We are running at the legal right height. Only GT4 team that visually is at the correct and mandated height- mulner and the other teams look 1.5 inches lower than us. It looks cooler of course to be slammed down but when the car fails tech for ride height and they wasted all the money and time working on a setup that is obsolete...

This is the first time we have had the cars on track as opposed to Rum Bum who have been developing their cars for 4 years. Four years of tuning, fabricating etc...

Pretty sure the gap to rick was bigger than a hundreth of a second but the Mustangs are super fast and have a year of development time. The gaps of 1 second or less per lap during a race come down to execution and consistency. One mistake and you lose if you are only .5 sec a lap faster

Thank you for the "raw view" of the clubsport. It looks awesome.

CJ Ichiban, keep up the great work and get it done. Hopefully you guys will collect some strong starting data that will help out for the race weekend.

For others if you're interested here are CTSC practice timing sheets:

Results 1
Results 2
Results 3
Results 4
Results 5
Results 6

For anyone else who cares - notice the cutout for the OBDII port from the interior photo?

CJ, I would say your results for the first time on track are pretty damn good as I know that Mustang is made for Daytona!

Are you running the stock shocks?

Again, good luck....

Cheers,
