Are you doing the platinum wheels? If it was my build I would have done satin black and I was 90 percent sure I was going to paint them but after seeing them, no way. So happy they're platinum; I love them.

Platinum - I think it is a nice contrast to JBM.

Congratulations. Beautiful car. It looks mean. I love the black. Almost went for black but my wife put her foot down and won. If you get the chance to get the RS, get it. I have 991 GT3 and while the GT4 is so much fun, every time I get back behind the wheel of my GT3, I have a big grin on my face. I never thought I would like driving a PDK car that much, but the PDK-S on GT3 is much more fun than a standard PDK, and lends itself to drive the car in a manual mode and be very satisfying. Still GT4 is so much fun to drive and very addictive but if I have to pick between the 2 cars I would pick the GT3, so get the RS and keep both of them. Each car fills different pleasure sensors in the brain. Mark

Yesterday I took out both of my toy cars, the GT4 and a '14 Shelby Mustang. I found myself obsessing over which one I liked better. The Shelby is a riot, with irresponsible power, but as any of you who have driven it can attest to, it's also a really well put together car - especially as I've added a watts-link rear end, 3.55 gears, and a short shift kit, among other things. And then there's the GT4, which is really a sublime package. So I was driving along obsessing, liking each one better as I was driving IT, and then I started to think about why the human psyche likes to play this game where we try to decide which is best? What is my favorite? What's the top choice? And I was reminded that, at least in this circumstance, we don't have to make a choice. We can enjoy each car for what it's worth. And for the rest of my drive, I enjoyed it that much more! And when I got home I began to obsess about other cars I'd like to add to the stable.
