Curious why do you guys think the GT4 is better than RS? (I have not driven one yet)

Congrats on the score! My build is also Jet Black, seeing yours makes the next five months seem awfully long

The GT4 is not better than the RS. One must decide with what they are looking for in their car.The RS is the ultimate track weapon and is probably pretty darn good on the street. I have a 991 GT3 so I do not think I would be talking out of school. Now, for driver involvement with a Manual and being able to exploit a car's potential more on the street - then maybe the GT4 could be the better option but if you could careless about the Manual then you can argue that the RS would be equally exciting on the street.
This is one argument where nobody will win and not worth it. But who would turn down an RS if it was accessible and priced close to the GT4??

We have similar taste in cars! I have a white '15 Turbo and a black GT4 coming in March or April. Can't wait and as much as I love my Turbo for a DD, I think the GT4 will compliment it well. Congrats.

My argument is more fun,not necessarily " better ".
I strongly believe the RS is too much car to exploit its full potential on the street. Even if you track a few times a year like most guys, that means you will spend most of the time on the street, where I think the GT4 will be more enjoyable.
If you track heavily I am sure you will appreciate the RS,but bear in mind the costs that are involved in case you make a mistake : a fender is 14K $.

I have not driven the RS so I really cant comment on which I think is better. I just had an itch for a raw MANUAL street race car which I don't think my 991TTS is. The numbers on the GT3RS are filthy so based on those performance stats 1 would "assume" it is better, BUT the fun and soul of the GT4 cant be quantified in numbers.. After another long drive today, money aside, I truly don't think I would trade my GT4 for a GT3RS. Its just that fun to drive and I do not want to part with my third pedal... Keep in mind the very respected EVO named the GT4 car of the year OVER the GT3RS, ferrari 488, aventador, mclaren 675. Great youtube video that explains why THEY think it is better...

Congrats!
In my opinion other than the 918, the GT (3/4/3RS/whatever) / Turbo S combination is the ultimate in Porsche-hood Enjoy!
