I think we had a standard white 997.2 GTS parked next to jakay11's CWM on Sunday but I didn't take photo it. They looked like different shades of white if that even makes any sense!

Great thread, Pete. To truly make this thread definitive you should update your original post with pictures of the other standard colors as well as any PTS GT4s that people have ordered, even if you didn't take the pictures yourself. Maybe add those pics from other people to the bottom with a disclaimer.

Congratulations, you've been deputized.

Any with my car next to the white 911 that was with us on the 13th? We were at the back of the train for the drive from first to 2nd meeting spot so probably not.

Cararra White (replaced by White on the 981 as of July 2012) has a warm tone.
White is neutral with no warm tone.
Metallic Cararra White is neutral with no warm tone.

Excellent compilation! Hard to find a bad colour for this car!

I believe this color is Slate Grey but I'm not 100% sure.
Perhaps this car was grey black (grauschwarz 7A1)?? Looks a bit like it to me.

Hard to tell for sure, but it doesn't look exactly like Gray Black.

For reference, here's a Gray Black GT4:

The indoor lighting made it tough to get that color right. Since we have the VIN, is it possible to figure out what the color is?

Excellent points. I just checked (based on the VIN) and it is a metallic colour -- so clearly it cannot be grey black. (7A1 is solid, not metallic. BTW, it also cannot be the usual (solid) Slate grey in either of its current incarnations (615 or Y97).)

My next guess then: slate metallic. ()

Sadly, requested but rejected for 991 and 981 so impossible to reproduce again, at least for this generation of 9x1 cars.

Appreciate the effort lessthan3mph! It's a shame this car was totaled by flooding by the storm we had in 2012.
