Apologies for my ignorance, but what is the difference between the navtv option and the other options available (that also happen to be much less expensive: Amazon.com: Esky EC135-05 Waterproof High Definition Color Wide Viewing Angle License Plate Car Rear View Camera with 7 Infrared Night Vision LED: Automotive)

Any chance you can post the steps involved? Did you have to drill a hole?

sorry guys, i didn't take many pictures but i did have to drill a hole in the bumper above the license plate.
I used this same information for doing my GT3, overall pretty similar for the GT4

Most of the GT4 interior comes out very easily
Hardest thing to do is remove the rear tail light, but at least you only need to take off the right side, you can leave the bumper on and fish the wire from the hole you drill to the tail light area with a coat hanger
I ran the cable from the hole over the plate to the right tail light. I put the connector there (camera cable has a break in it so you can remove bumper w/o fishing out 12 feet of wire) and then ran the wire through the same place as the tail light power. down the right side of the car and under the cubby stash, and then to the center of the car where I could stuff it up under the center console and to the back of the PCM
be prepared to lose some clips from the interior parts, pretty disappointing as i was expecting this from my GT3 work and still managed to drop some into the abyss. she reports no new rattles though!
snap on light bar is a huge help
you can see where to fish the wire through
this is how the tail light is powered, squeezed camera cable through here
same view but from the inside of the car
cable is running with the wire loom on the lower right
and here it is behind the passenger seat

So this is doable without having to remove the bumper? That's a big plus.....thanks for the info

Yep, no need to remove the bumper. I had taken off the little spoiler lip too but that turned out to be unnecessary. Really its just carpet pieces, strut bar, and the passenger side tail light
