Here's the video.....it sounds better in person. I personally think it adds a bit more higher pitch sound, which I like a lot! Hopefully adding the exhaust system will take this a couple of notches up.

Nice sound, but what about performance. Car already sounds good so unless it helps the performance what's the point. Did you Dyno it?

i just bought one - yesterday
the brand leader from the dealer called me. (i was in the office). "he just got one back..." 2h later i was there, 2h later paper was signed.

white, red stiching, 6 point harness, 918 seats, clubsport package
PCM, Bi-Xenon black, ... this part is not important...

i´m very excited how i will be pleased
refering to the midengine - i liked the F430 a lot - how it slided in. good memories.
and if it has to leave if the RS pops up.

today -11,5°C + snow
i hope i can pick it up soon.

next days it will be balanced (crossweight etc), biggest possible camper incl. shims (-2,3° front -1,8° back or so), swaybar front soft - back medium or hard, around 5-10mm lower (in the front a bit more)

can´t wait.

Used the windscreen washer for first time - bugs in mountains.
Got home and noticed this ... 981/991s share this weak runoff design too?
Seems water runs behind fender into sluice but not to ground and comes out through trailing fender edge.

I have the same thing happen when I wash the car...
I use a leaf blower to clean out the excess water on top of the car and in a number of crevices... I also use a towel in that area. You have to open the door jam and clean out the water that resting in the door threshold.
I dont know if others have also noticed but there seems to be a lot of tire and brake powder that accumulates both in that area of the door( you pictured) and the rear of the car.
My car is white and there is like a black soot covering the whole rear end after a spirited 75 mile drive ...
Best regards
Ed

^^ thanks Ed ... will keep it in mind

But on your last point, yes a friend of mine driving at the ring late last year said he noticed that the rears (and rest of the car generally) of the GT3s were much cleaner than the GT4s after a few hours of tourist time.

If your window is open you will also get water inside when using the windscreen washer. Runoff in general is not great.

No offense taken, Carl. This is just the beginning. Next, will be permanent track day numbers, and even more juvenile silliness to come. I figure, what the heck - it is a toy, so make it a fun toy.

That was not my original plan. I originally planned to drive it nearly every day, and then take it to the track occasionally. But, I decided to keep it in the garage most of the time. Now, when it comes out, it is coming out to play and have some fun with it.
