Had an exchange of emails with Racelogic this morning. They feel the GT4 must use different IDs if all previous CAN profiles are not working.
They hope to have a customer GT4 in the next few days for initial testing/reverse engineering IDs.

It's possible I am interfaced incorrectly, but Racelogic has no diagnostics to know for sure.

AIM has had a car, the guy from HLT has had a car and the Motec guys did all the CS work...and nobody has released a new map for the GT4. If Racelogic can do it, they are heros and we should all buy their stuff right now...Ill cross my fingers with you and hope, but Im slightly more doubtful...

They've cracked it!

Racelogic had a GT4 in this morning and have decoded the IDs for various CAN data items. I have the REF file from them which I assume will be on their website very shortly.

I am informed it will provide the following data items:
Throttle Pedal Position (%)
Brake Pressure (bar)
Clutch Pedal Position (%)
RPM
Steering Angle (°)
Steering Direction
Sport Mode on/off
Wheel Speeds (kph)

I will test tonight and report back (though they have tested it on a GT4 this morning so I'm sure it works)

If it is not on their website and you are impatient then drop me a PM with your email

Great timing. First track day is next weekend at Silverstone F1 Circuit

Good lord that was fast?!?!

Just to confirm, this is CAN data and not OBD2 data, right?

Yes, CAN. High frequency - exactly what you need

Now if they would release the newest version of their hardware we would have options...

That's great news! I see a Vbox Video HD2 in my future. Hopefully in the not-too-distant future.
