Hi Jimmy...how's the GT3? I think you went with the same battery model as I did: Intensity Carbon i48CE
It's a bit less tall than the OEM but that top bracket is not the one holding the battery down.....rest of the dimensions are exactly as OEM.
This was my first mod almost 16K miles ago...use the car occasionally on the street and track without any problems or having to reprogram the ECU.
Too bad the battery is under that front cover..it's beautifully finished in real carbon and weight is almost nothing.

I have this in my 997 GT3. Best part it beeps with it gets low.
I am a fan of Lithium batteries, just not the cost.
